Why are there many so-called "heroes" in poverty-stricken places?
It seems that the poorer a place is, more heroes abound. The list of recent CNN Heroes finalist seems to push the verdict towards this conclusion = )
Or maybe, the system is so overwhelmed that the system needs heroic acts for it to function... barely function.
Though we should celebrate the people that performs the heroic act, we should improve, develop or even re-think the system, the governance and the management that depends on heroes to perform and deliver its mandate.
"... why think like mere men?"
