a global economic recalibration

For all the news and fears that has spawned out of the current economic situation, I firmly believe that what's happening is a simple case of recalibration. And by simple, I do not mean easy, painless.

But it is simply a recalibration of an Economic System to a new and expanded set of reality.

It is the Economic System's way of saying that we are all connected not only in a conceptual and philosophical way but also in our wallets and in our pockets. It's the System's way of saying to each one of us to be responsible for our individual actions and decisions really affects a country, a race across the globe. In fact, our very own lives as we handed it down to the next generation.

It is an Economic System entering a new phase. Like a toddler, expressing his own unique individuality, character.

I hope that the Powers that be see it that way, a System growing. I hope the Politics acknowledges that.

on problems and on solutions

Before: If we are not part of the solution, we are part of the problem.

Now: If we are not part of the problem, we can not be part of the solution.

So, if we want to solve something we have to accept that we are also part of the problem, the problem called apathy...
